I have a new method or thing when I suddenly find myself falling or fallen down an Alice in Wonderland rabbit warren of social media internet. When I realise that what I’m looking at or watching is pure crap, I tell myself ‘well that’s 5 minutes of your life you’re never going to get back’. The more times I say it, the more times I hesitate or attempt to stop myself going down that rabbit warren. It’s working. It doesn’t help social media can be addicting, but the more times I say it, the more productive I am from not falling down that rabbit hole. Can it work for night naps too?Water reflection
Anyways, I hope you had a great weekend! This past weekend was a puente or long weekend as Monday was a public holiday/festivo. My plans were minimal, soaking up late summer as much as possible. In-between chores, workouts, run, roof top workouts there was only one place I wanted to be. La playa! I’ll leave ya with a few photos.
Friday run viewSaturday’s beach view
Sunday run view and trying out natural on the go fruit gel substitutes. No upset tummy and I was kinda disappointed it didn’t last long. I was enjoying it and more than appreciated the energy boost on the loop back! I also hit the monkey bars for the first time in a few weeks. Oh dear. They were easier than I thought they’d be, however my reward for not having been on then in a while, one shredded palm.
What’s a weekend without the zoo?
Sleeping on the job
Always wash ya green before eating! In honour of World Elephant Day last Friday which I missed.

I love this advise, Nat. In all honesty I really needed to read this. Some mornings, I’ll open my old IG account then reconsider. Do I really need to do this? I have other things I could be doing. A lot of it stems from I like to see other people’s visuals. What did they eat? What did they do? There has to be a balance though.
That’s how I feel. Mine is Youtube. I’m getting better at not being enticed by titles and images. I’m getting better at saying not now!
