The best things in life are free. Flip side, there’s no such thing as free dinner. Nature’s free for everyone. Inspiring and motivating us, making us feel good being surrounded by greenery, water or even sitting warm sunshine’s free. How we as humans treat nature maybe we shouldn’t haven’t it for free. Without sounding too preachy our actions may not immediately affect our own countries environments instead affecting other countries environments and how nature’s linked, it will affect our countries at some point. Nature always wins. Nature likes to survive. Nature likes balance. I sometimes feel we as humans are the caretakers of Earth and we’re not doing a great job looking after it. Nature on our own doorstep might not feel or look as beautiful as a far away tropical climate to care, (those in that tropical place might feel the same?) but it is and it’s free.
I know many people don’t agree with zoos (maybe if we took better care of nature and the environment we wouldn’t need them). There are some bad ones out there. Spring as I like it arrived this Sunday. A sunny 18-20C making me one happy girl! Okay, maybe not being impatient wanting to wear shorts now and knowing that’s it’s not quite warm enough for shorts yet. Soon Nat, soon!
This weekend we got out the city again to walk more of the Camin de Ronda or part of the old anti smugglers route along the Costa Brava. The way to find path starts is to ignore the sat nav once you’re the chosen costal town, seeing where the car ends up letting your inner explorer take over. Spring’s here early and I’ve caught the cliche Spring Cleaning. Maybe it’s the change of light that’s making a few things look tired and faded or the light’s making things look different and in need of change. Whichever one, I’ve been switching and moving things around in the apartment, having a mini KonMari Method clean out and feeling change of happier energy in general. Cliche I know! Spring’s always a wake up season after a season of hibernating so maybe I’ve caught that energy and have a whole host of ideas I want to get moving.

Winter’s back! I always forget February gives January a run for it’s money here in which month’s the coldest. February’s short and sweet, but it packs a punch in rainy, windy, grey overcast, sunny cold days.
Next week I start my indoor climbing classes. I’ve never done anything like it before apart from climbing trees as a kid so I’m a little nervous and excited. I’m scaling down my gym workouts next week so I have energy. I know it’s probably a workout in itself, however I’m what if the first class is just theory? I won’t get my fix.

Yep, it’s comes down to a Weekend Friday Favourites Catch Up Combo. This week’s flown by and I’m left scratching my head wondering what I’ve done this week. Very little as I’ve been consuming a little too much 5 minutes of my life I’m not going to get back aka YouTube. Which leaves me feeling irritable I haven’t been creative (I’ve included where I got this from in Internet Finds) or productive. But that’s a good thing. I get grouchy when I realise I’m watching little too much YouTube, Netflix or reading crap. Knowing where the time’s gone helps make changes.
