Weekend Friday Favourites

I hope you’re having a great weekend! Mine hasn’t gone quite as planned. I spent Saturday evening trying to find a pharmacy open that had AJ’s the cat’s medicine. 17km or 27km cycling including a trip to the park before, finding one, mistaking a turning coming back and appreciating people who help, later AJ has his medicine. No thanks from him. Medicine isn’t up there with breakfast or dinner.

Anyways, Weekend Friday Favourites, a round up of things that have made me smile or caught my eye this week. Feel free to share what’s been making you smile recently in the comments! (more…)

2 Seasons 1 Weekend

I hope you’re enjoying the last full week of summer 2017! I may have to eat my words about transitional wardrobes. If this past weekend was anything to go by, I’ll be in leggings and layering before I know it. I’ve been lucky to have been in shorts since the beginning of May and while I’m sad to see summer say it’s see ya laters, I’m excited for autumn fall (well, maybe not the season after). Anyways I’ll leave ya with a catch up of the past few days.

Eye Test, Heatwave and Full Moon

Happy Friday!

I hope you’re having great week so far! Mine’s gone way too quickly. Monday in a blur became Friday. There’s been a mini heatwave, an eye test, realising it’s been 12 years since I left the UK and my obliques sore from kettlebell windmills. I hadn’t done them in a while and if you think you don’t use your obliques running, think again. It took about 3 minutes into my run to make the connection.

Anyways, I’ll leave you with a little catch up!

Friday saw a run, checking out Huda Beauty that had just landed in Sephora and a long overdue trip to the Opticians. (more…)

Home Office Revamp

A few months ago my office space had a revamp! For about 5 years my desk space was solid top fold up picnic table and a fold up picnic chair with 2 low Ikea Billy bookshelves I shared with P. This year my desk kinda expanded as I ‘borrowed’ the twin fold up table for desk extension. Things got a little cramped at times, the top wasn’t always clutter free and a trip to Ikea last year got me thinking maybe it’s time for a new desk.

I fell in love with their white faux leather Skruvsta 1950/60’s inspired chair that’s super comfy and said my name as I sat swivelling in. (more…)
