Weekend Friday Favourites

I hope you’re having a great weekend! I’m like the kid who’s left all their homework until the last minute, so without further ado, this weeks Weekend Friday Favourites. Things that have been making me smile or caught my eye this week.

Rain ReflectionsIMG_8305

The first half of the week was grey and rainy. Thankfully it wasn’t cold rain, but I got caught out enough to put my rucksack and shopping in the bath when I got back one evening, while I dealt with wet clothes. I had a fold up/pack a mac raincoat but cycling in the rain, it kinda goes everywhere! Anyways, I liked the way the rain reflected the trees.

Tropical Trail MixIMG_8340

I find it hard to find quick snacks when out and usually resort to crisps or dried plantain crisps. A few places sell cereal and date bars, but they usually have cashews in which I don’t get along with (eczema) and I never find they fill me up. After 4 maybe. Recently I’ve been remembering to take out trail mix and this is my current go to: almonds, coconut flakes and vegan beef jerky- dried mango. The mango always goes first!

Barcelona Zoo

Yes, there was another visit to the zoo!

More flamingo chicks! I’ve never noticed before but when flamingos sit, their knee bends the other way to most animals. Like hydraulics legs. It’s a little freaky.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAEscapee zoo descendent OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI could watch these guys all day!OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMara mara’s catching the last raysOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

100 years of Beauty

I spent about an hour glued to this channel as I worked my way through 100 years of beauty from the 1910’s to now in Korea, Japan, Germany, Kenya, Syria, Egypt, Russia, Ethiopia, India to name a few. The 80’s had me giggling!

50 Best TRX Exercises Ever

I came across this video looking for TRX ideas. The title’s a bit misleading as there’s more than 50 TRX exercises, but it’s packed with TRX exercises for all levels and needs, starting with the basics working up to some fun variations.

Oh no! Lots leafy green vegetables for you! They’re packed with calcium and are way better than dairy (dairy can destroy bones) products. Hope it gets sorted pronto xoxo
