Thank you for all your kind comments yesterday! To kick off cross training blogging, here’s my first WordPress Weekly Photo challenge entry!
It’s no secret I love taking photos. Maybe too many. I don’t revisit them often unless I’m looking for something in particular, then for just a moment I’m right back there. It’s also fun, fast forwarding through them, seeing my life flash by and realise there’s some photos to share here!
This weeks theme is shadowed. I’m not sure of the rules, can it be old photos, shot within the week? Just one entry or multiple? It’ll be impossible to choose just one! I managed to weed it down to 3:
Barcelona from Parc Collserola. If you have your own transport getting up the mountain park overlooking the city is relativily easy to get to. If you rely on public transport, it’s a mission, but completely worth the view, clean air and sound of silence if you can find it! This was taken a few weeks ago about 1/2 an hour before sunset. The mountain casts a shadow over Barcelona while the clouds cast shadows over the city and Badalona.
AJ soaking up the afternoon sun. Sunlight, shadows, how many cats?Mr D, eyeing birds. Shadow on shadow!Enjoy!
What gorgeous photos which are perfect for the theme! I particularly love the second one. There is something special about the sunlight seeping in that makes it all the more beautiful and I just love the way the cat is closing its eyes!
Thank you! Mr AJ loves his sunshine. This was taken in France where he liked to sit half in it and half out of it cat napping! Cats do odd things. 🙂
what kind of challenge is this? Sounds interesting since I also love taking photos 🙂
If you follow the Daily Post on WordPress they have a new theme every Friday. And if you workout how to ping it, let me know. It’s probably really easy to do, but I’m too lazy to figure it out! 🙂
Via hyperlink I guess. Oh I follow the daily post but I seldom read their posts :’D
Me neither! Just the headlines and if it intrigues me, then I read!
Cute cats! 🙂
Thank you! I know they are, but I might be biased! xo 🙂
These 3 shadow pictures are great Natalie. 🙂
Thank you! I have good subjects when they sit still long enough!
