12 Reasons Why I’m Excited For Autumn Fall And Sad To See Summer Leave For 6 Months

In a few weeks, I’m back to my autumn fall winter wardrobe uniform of black leggings until late spring, when denim shorts make a much anticipated comeback. So I thought it would be fun, to share my reasons why I’m excited for the new season ahead and looking forward to when summer says didcha miss me next year!

I’ll miss my tan. I didn’t tan as much this year as previous years, but I’ll miss having some colour. I don’t like being pale!

I won’t miss Continue reading “12 Reasons Why I’m Excited For Autumn Fall And Sad To See Summer Leave For 6 Months”

Humidity And The Beach

The humidity’s something else at the moment. If you’re in the wind which hasn’t seemed to had a day off this year you’re okay. In pockets were there’s no air like my gym changing room, in the centre down narrow alley ways the air’s sticky and somewhat still.

My gym has air conditioning but never freezing. Just a little cooler or warmer than the ambient air temp depending on the season. And at the moment it’s bust. Continue reading “Humidity And The Beach”

Postural Tips. YouTube Made Me Do It.

YouTube has thing of mind reading or rather tracking your viewing with recommend videos in your list. Popping up last Saturday evening were postural correction neck videos. I know my head’s slightly more forward than it should be; forward head posture and my shoulders rounded. I’m always trying to remember posture sitting, on my phone (internet), running, cycling, in the gym and basically everywhere. Emphasis on trying. When I’m tried, stressed, running or in a rush, I tend to forget.images (6)

My last osteopath visit the amount of times my spine was clicked was nearly in double digits. Continue reading “Postural Tips. YouTube Made Me Do It.”

I See You Spring

Happy March!

I’m getting excited. Spring’s saying hello! I can feel it’s buzz in the mornings, it’s warmth, the light’s changing from it’s soft winter glow. Late Winter, early Spring’s coming a close second to my love of Summer. In about 2 weeks I’ll be switching out my winter coat. It’s warm enough early afternoon to have a lighter jacket but the mornings and evenings say different. I’m hoping that saying if March comes in like a lion it goes out like a lamb and vice versa the lion’s roar’s worse that its bite. The next few weeks look sunny and windy and I’ve got my fingers crossed the wind’s the lion. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Weekend Friday Favourites

The evenings are now beginning to feel like November evenings I remember growing up. The ones with that crisp autumnal chill that bites as the temps transition to colder months. While I’ve climatised to Spanish/Catalan temps, my *internal seasonal body clock’s still programmed for British winters. I brace myself every year for those chilly October nights that never come. November I’m still in lighter weight jackets thinking I should be snug in a winter coat. I guess those cold, pretty winter days growing up made a mark. I’ve haven’t seen frost since I was last in the UK a few years ago. I forgot how pretty frost covered fields and trees are in the morning light. I don’t miss however frozen feet, defrosting windshields or negotiating ice!OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

* Summer it’s well and truly adjusted!
