Dance your cares away…

Woke up with heavy thoughts and decided that my 8km morning run should help sort them out. Yep, that it did. Fraggle Rock’s theme tune says it all: Dance your cares away, worries for another day…! A good training session can make you feel like you can take on the world! Okay, maybe that’s a little extreme, but any exercise puts you in a better frame of mind. Your worries are still there afterwards, but 99% of the time, things seem clearer. And, yes I have those crazy five minutes where you just dance because you can and you always feel good afterwards!

This corner always brings a wow!

Lots of crickets, butterflies and the odd lizard out this morning. I found a wall on my run that’s ideal for box jumps and can just clear it. 5 reps warm up one side and 10 reps the higher side. Then Tone It Up Beach Babe DVD2 Sunrise Routine to concentrate on something other than my thoughts…not happening! A little bit of handstand practice completed this morning’s training. I seem to favour leading with my left leg first, then right. Much more graceful than the other way around! Does anyone else find it easier one side leading than the other? Just curious as I’m for the most part, right handed however I do some things left handed as it feels more comfortable.

Must be a good wall as it’s popular with the dogs! Just not when I’m around please. Left side warm ups, right side serious.

I saw something I’ve never seen before grocery shopping, fresh almonds! I didn’t get any as they were nearly €5 per kg!

Diesels current hammock is beginning to sag under his weight, so today we got him a new one. He knew straight away it was for him and it wasn’t long until he was cooling off in style! If he could talk, he’d say…’sleep your cares away, worries for another day…’!

Today’s problem sorted itself out, so now it’s time for some evening yoga!

I received an update on my trainer certificate…no new news. I hope I get answer soon as it seems I might have to take legal advice and that’s something I wish to do.

Does working out make you feel like you can take on the world? Does your pet know when something’s non food is for them?
