Happy Winter!

I hope you had great Christmas! Mine was low key, just me and the cats. If I’m honest I was looking forward to it being just me and the cats. A few days of taking it easy, no having to eat a humongous Christmas dinner (sorry P! You know I’m happier with a salad and minimal fuss), my own schedule. Maybe I’m a Grinch.

Ever since I found out cinemas are open Christmas Day in Spain from late afternoon, it’s become a tradition. Christmas Day Movie! I booked up to the see the earliest showing of Aquaman. I don’t know about you, but as soon as the Christmas presents have been opened I’m in, I wanna sort out mode. Major sort out mode! It often doesn’t happen for a few days. I prefer to have a morning free to sort out. I’m not very good at doing chores in the evening. That’s my excuse. More on that later.

This time of year inbetween Christmas and the New Year has most of us reflecting on the past year and thinking about the next. I don’t believe in New Year resolutions. Buff Epic Run 2017 and Catch Up

Tomorrow’s officially the first day of Winter! Or Summer if you’re a lucky duck to be in the Southern Hemisphere. The days start to get longer even if it’s by a few seconds each day. 3 months and counting until Spring!

This past weekend was a little action packed, Buff Epic Run, lots of bike rides, last minute Christmas present wrapping and numerous Post Office trips as you always forget a few people and parcels to collect. I’ll leave ya with a little photo catch up!

Weekend Friday Favourites

I hope you’re having a great weekend! This week’s been another week where I’ve felt like I need 3 of me so I haven’t dropped by as much as I’d have liked. I’m hoping from next week I can stop by more often now I don’t have as many dentist visits or extra errands. I stopped by to collect my new retainers this week (I managed to snap my top retainer the week before) only to not be able to remove the top retainer! It took the dentist about 20 minutes filling it down until I could remove it easily. I think I tested his patience as every time he filed it down for me to try again I was, seriously I can’t remove it! He was like remove it like this, with me, I’ve been wearing this style of retainer for 10 months. I know how to remove them, it’s too tight!

Anyways, Weekend Friday Favourites, things that have made me smile or caught my eye this week. New retainers didn’t make the cut.
