Today I’m sharing with you some great advice my hairdressers gave me when it comes to applying shampoo that not only saves the amount of shampoo used, but also on water (and the water bill 🙂 ).
I’ve been using Oway shampoos as recommended by my hairdresser to help my fine hair back to healthy. Oway products are natural which means they don’t contain foamy properties most shampoos with SLSs have. (more…)
I don’t know about where you are at the moment, but that thing about crisp autumnal fall afternoons is a myth. Daily temps are a cool 23C. Too cool for shorts and too warm for leggings. The light’s shifting so bright summer colours stand out against a softer light. More people are dressing in darker colours which I try to avoid as I prefer wearing lighter colours leaving me feeling double not knowing how to layer right now. Even the weather doesn’t know how to layer. 23C the average with some days topping 26C with the evenings 20-22C.

Today I’m sharing how I shop online for beauty products, more specially cruelty free beauty products. I’m sure most of these are obvious but seeing how I buy most of my cosmetics online I thought it would be fun to share my tips. So lets get to it!
When coming across a new brand the first thing I do is Google ‘X animal testing’. I came across this tip a few months ago as this way of asking rather than ‘does x test on animals’ brings a more definite yes/no answer. Sites I use for reference that pop up (more…)
YouTube has thing of mind reading or rather tracking your viewing with recommend videos in your list. Popping up last Saturday evening were postural correction neck videos. I know my head’s slightly more forward than it should be; forward head posture and my shoulders rounded. I’m always trying to remember posture sitting, on my phone (internet), running, cycling, in the gym and basically everywhere. Emphasis on trying. When I’m tried, stressed, running or in a rush, I tend to forget.
My last osteopath visit the amount of times my spine was clicked was nearly in double digits. (more…)
