January Catch Up

You know that saying careful what you wish for? One, my Mum loves to repeat. I feel like I haven’t spend much quality time lately with the cats. The universe heard and answered in it’s usual way. It get so many wishes, it either doesn’t always listen properly or it does and thinks that doesn’t warrant a good wish so twists it. I ended up with a tummy bug, out for 24 hours.

The cats were close by, one an angel, the other an angel until he got hangry. His mama couldn’t get up to feed him and he let her know. P was away traveling also down with the same bug, so it was probably for the best he wasn’t here. I spent Continue reading “January Catch Up”

Weekend Monday Friday Favourites

Weekend Monday Friday Favourites. We got back late last night and no amount of match sticks could hold my eyes open editing. I’d started this post earlier in the day, but my eyes were so heavy they won, hence it being Weekend Monday Friday Favourites. Monday so I feel better and don’t feel so behind with posts. Which I am. Anyways, things that have been making me smile or caught my eye the past week.

Transitioning

Happy Friday!

I hope you’re having a great week! I can’t believe we’re half way through March already and this post was planned for Monday. Whatever. The half way through March and that it’s officially Spring on Monday’s a reminder like this motivation quote that Tone It Up shared on Instagram a few weeks ago: One Day or Day One.

I had plans this past weekend to sort out Continue reading “Transitioning”

High Winds

The sunshine today holds whispers of Spring. Well after 4 days of heavy wind and rain any sunshine on a Winter’s day has you feeling Spring. Right now I’m patiently waiting for Spring, more than anything for the opportunity to wear lighter layers, be able to dress a little more chic. Don’t get me wrong I appreciate my jumpers, warm scarves, gloves and coat, but the thought of feeling the warm sunshine on my skin has me counting down the days. Especially as the next few days are back to cold grey. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERASince the wind started battering the coast last Thursday, Continue reading “High Winds”

Photos That Never Made….

While I haven’t been blogging as much as I’ve wanted the past few weeks, I’m still taking just as many photos! Some were for posts that never happened, others just because, others I forgot to share, some day to day seemed boring to talk about at the time and others taken on my travels.

Just don’t expect any selfies. Even though it’s acceptable now to take them, firstly, I feel conscious taking them, secondly I can’t take them for ****. It’s worse than looking in the mirror! Anyways, enjoy!
