Mid June In Andorra

Back in June we ran, okay walked our first and maybe last Spartan Mountain Series Race, the Spartan Super in Andorra. For the record I’ll run more Spartan Supers, but at sea level or low/foothill mountain range like where the Barcelona Spartans are held. The Andorra terrain and altitude got me! Thanks to them this Super took me nearly as long as the Beast a few years. I’m a sea level girl for sure!

Post race day we took our time heading back to the city. We asked for a later check out as we knew we’d be tired and we wanted to explore bit more of Andorra. The view Continue reading “Mid June In Andorra”

Early Spring Sunshine

Spring’s here early and I’ve caught the cliche Spring Cleaning. Maybe it’s the change of light that’s making a few things look tired and faded or the light’s making things look different and in need of change. Whichever one, I’ve been switching and moving things around in the apartment, having a mini KonMari Method clean out and feeling change of happier energy in general. Cliche I know! Spring’s always a wake up season after a season of hibernating so maybe I’ve caught that energy and have a whole host of ideas I want to get moving.

Living in a city you don’t notice seasonal changes as much. Grey becomes a different tone of lifeless grey. Continue reading “Early Spring Sunshine”

1st Comes Sunshine, Halloween, Then Christmas

Happy Monday!

I can’t believe this weekend the clocks go back. 2 months until the New Year. How did it get to be October so quick? Halloween hasn’t even done its thing and Christmas is springing up in the shops (can we skip winter and go straight to Spring).OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I’ve noticed last week Zara Home already Continue reading “1st Comes Sunshine, Halloween, Then Christmas”

Late Summer Afternoon, Parc de la Ciutadella

While I was quite content last holiday puente weekend just to hang out the cats and spend extra time at the beach, come Monday I craving a mini explore somewhere.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I toyed with cycling around Port Vell. It’s not a part of the city I go much and the sea front along Port Vell and Moll de Bosch i Alsina is kinda picturesque. As the beaches were busy, the port would have been equally as busy. I didn’t have time to go to the Botanic Jardins (they’re been on my summer to go list all summer!) and was craving a greenery fix even though I’d been the zoo the day before. I would have gone to the zoo, but I limit to 2 times a week so I don’t get too bored or overtired of it. It was about an hour until sunset, so there was only one place I knew in cycling distance with greenery, Parc de la Ciutadella. Okay, no a mini adventure as I cycling through it a few times a month. I didn’t escape the holiday crowds as it was packed with people and Pokemon Go. However if you head towards the Parliament buildings, you can find quiet pockets no matter the season. If it’s sunny near sunset, hazy sunshine. Enjoy!OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
