Thanks to an early dentist appointment and the gym done early last week, I got to spend 2 whole hours at the zoo. 2 whole hours! Normally I get there moments before last entry with 30 minutes, okay 45 minutes as I found out they have a 15-20 minute grace period to say hi the to residents. When they switch to Spring/Summer hours I’ll have an hour if I make last entry.

Three little birds. Another song I love along with the cheeky parakeets, descendants of zoo escapees that have made the city their home. Unfortunately for them, they’re spreading out beyond the city and are becoming considered a pest. But any animal who hangs around the zoo has sanctuary (they feed the feral cats) which these guys know all about. Seagulls waiting for fish scraps, Barcelona Zoo
