Today I’m sharing with you some great advice my hairdressers gave me when it comes to applying shampoo that not only saves the amount of shampoo used, but also on water (and the water bill 🙂 ).
I’ve been using Oway shampoos as recommended by my hairdresser to help my fine hair back to healthy. Oway products are natural which means they don’t contain foamy properties most shampoos with SLSs have. (more…)
Today I’m sharing how I shop online for beauty products, more specially cruelty free beauty products. I’m sure most of these are obvious but seeing how I buy most of my cosmetics online I thought it would be fun to share my tips. So lets get to it!
When coming across a new brand the first thing I do is Google ‘X animal testing’. I came across this tip a few months ago as this way of asking rather than ‘does x test on animals’ brings a more definite yes/no answer. Sites I use for reference that pop up (more…)
Sometimes it’s the simplest things that help with the bigger things.
It took my hairdresser less than a moment to work out the problem what took me a while to figure out. Why my hair was looking damaged. Particularly looking and feeling dry. I wear a baseball cap cycling (helmet on long rides) so at least the top half looks presentable at my destination. No extreme windswept, dragged through a bush backward looks or cowlicks. Running it’s up in a mid to high pony tail and a baseball cap.
