The waves in second part of March were amazing. The air most days by the beaches was heavy with sea spray and the colour of the sea muddy green turquoise as it flashed breaking waves . And so so windy. I was on time for most things thanks to a tail wind from non stop storms! Cycling backI sometimes questioned my sanity as the wind never eased up.
There were more goslings or baby geese in Parc de la Ciutadella. More of them later! First those waves…
Mothers Day in the UK meant a trip to the most fanciest post office in all the lands! Correos at the end of Via Laietana. There is a post office closer but it’s only open until 14.30 and doesn’t have frescos, a glass dome ceiling or looks like the train station in Harry Potter. I used to live close by so I know it’s a good post office. Others I’ve sent stuff from has got lost.
Spring started saying hello with jasmine and leaves on trees 😃
Barcelona Council started installing everything leads to the sea signs by drains like in USA. I’m not sure if it is the council as I’ve only seen 2.
More goslings appeared in Parc de la Ciutadella.
I finally made the connection why guys hairstyles in the 1950’s were called a ducks arse. My mum always said why but I never made the connection until now 🤦♀️I can be quick sometimes.
I also took a trip to the Moco Museum before the tourist season started.
