I hope you’re having a great weekend! This weekend’s a puente here as Monday’s a festivo or holiday. Which is perfect as if the weather apps are right there’s some beach siesta time to be spent!

Druni PerfumeriaIMG_5729

My local centre commercial recently opened a new Druni perfumeria. Usually I don’t go in these type of cosmetic shops as most products aren’t cruelty free. Something said go in and I’m glad I did. A whole corner dedicated to ecological and organic brands! I think I spend 45 minutes smelling, deciding, being overloaded with the choice of body scrubs. I kinda went a little crazy stocking up. My reasoning better to stock up than go in every week and end up buying twice as much. I’m keen to try out all the cruelty free, palm oil free, made down the road in Valencia body soaps now I can’t get Pacifica body soap from iherb.com anymore. A lot of brands are Estonian, Polish and Spanish which was another surprise as I don’t hear much about European ecological brands. Be sure to see them in up and coming Beauty Finds!

New HairIMG_6058

Pas Peluquería made my hair healthy again after the summer with a long overdue OWay rebuilding treatment and some autumn fall equinox moon magic. The ends were a little fried as while I love the sea, my hair doesn’t.

Side Lunge to Leg Adduction with Plate

This is a move I picked up from Tone It Up and adapted for extra leg/bum work. Start with feet hip distance apart, holding a plate on the side of your bum, perform a side lunge keeping feet facing forward, making sure the knee doesn’t go over the toes, weight in heels, with good posture and abs engaged. Step back to start, keeping the plate on the side of the bum perform a leg addiction with the same leg that side lunged before returning to start. The plate adds more resistance. I then later in this circuit targeted the glutes/bum some more with BOSU up and overs or fast moving squats up and over. I felt them later!

I went to have a facial a couple of weeks ago here in Spain and the beautician sold me some products and lotions from a brand called Secretos del agua. It is quite expensive, but all natural and blah blah and my skin is really getting better. I’d had a patch with rash-like or small pimples for years, and skin noticeably harsher on one cheek, and now two weeks after using those products I can really see a difference! Now I have no idea which products I will buy after I go back to China as this brand seems impossible to buy outside of Spain. I’m kinda sad Innisfree was contributing to my bad skin, but I used it since mid of this year and my face didn’t improve. I thought it didn’t have anything to do with the products until I tried these ones… The beautician said something about silicones clogging my pores!

    Sorry for the brick haha.

How was the facial? I’ve never had one! Maybe your mum could ship it to do or see if the brand can. I’ve checked their website and they have a few salons here stocking it. I’ll be on the lookout and all natural, thank you!

Silicones… they make everything look nice and smooth at a cost. Fill in pores making them look smaller but you’ve got to have an exceptionally good cleaner to remove it form the pores and exfoliate regularly otherwise it can clog.

I apologies I haven’t been keeping up with blogs lately… I hope your wedding was amazing!
