natjtan Part 4 is the last in the 12 Hours in Madrid Series and perhaps the one I should have stuck with. A selection of photos I was saving especially for this post: street life, architecture and my favourite photos of the day. 
Parts 1, 2 and 3 I wasn’t happy with their direction and wrote them kinda robotically and should have just done the post I wanted to instead of trying to be a travel writer. Trying the operative word. You know the posts you’ve spent so much time on but deep down you know should walk away from them. You know it’s not your best work, you wouldn’t read them, yet spent much time on you press publish anyway? They were parts 1, 2 and 3. Anyways, enjoy!

Chewing gum takes 5 years to decompose/disappear. It takes a second to put it in the bin (or think, putting it in a bin takes a second)

The park looks wonderful, cool to see the trees changing colour as well.
Amazing how narrow the streets are in the city centre.
The dust picture really looks the Chinese paintings. Once I saw an art installation in which a small robot dropped black dust on the white floor and then there was a camera filming it and it was projected on the wall. It also looked like mountains!
I’d loved to have seen that! At first I’ll admit I thought it was spider webs and approached with caution 🙂
This is really making me want to visit Madrid.
