Zoo Pics

I thought I’d do something a little different with my zoo trips, my favourite photos of my past few visits. I’m trying to keep zoo photos to a minimum to avoid repeats and same old. However the zoo’s my sanctuary and the residents have been working the camera recently. Enjoy!I never knew how hairy elephants are!I love how these guys groom in the water. I think it’s like exfoliation for them. They swim around on the their sides working up speed and bubbles, shaking their tails, slapping the water before preening while swimming. This doesn’t look comfy!I always love how the silverback sits holding the table with his feet. Yogi gorilla.A traffic cone makes a happy pygmy hippo. Cats all over, big or small are all the same.One of the bison and one of the water buffalos, like to lock horns between the fences.
