natjtan This week is flying by. It was Monday now it’s Thursday and I feel like I’m chasing my tail round and round in circles. Salt water therapy’s been needed for achy muscles. Yesterday’s run I was feeling Tuesdays skater touch down cardio blasts. They really hit the gluteus medius and minimus! It wasn’t until a dip yesterday evening the ache started to dissipate! 
Over the weekend up to Tuesday saw a mini heatwave so there was only one place to be to cool off. The beach! P was here for a few days and Sunday afternoon we took a motorbike trip to Castelldefels. Where the beach is about 5km long with fine super soft sand. Despite the heat wave around 5.30/6pm most days whispy clouds arrived blocking the sun. Not perfect sunbathing weather, but waves were perfect for jumping in. Castelldefels is quite shallow for a quite away out with lots of wave breaks making it great to place play in the waves with out getting out much of your depth. I think we spent an hour jumping waves, being sucker punched by them (me), only 2 wardrobe malfunctions (me, that bikini has since been retired) with crashing waves full of bubbles and water so warm you didn’t want to get out.
We didn’t realise until later that we were smack bam in the middle of the kite surfing zone. Other wave jumpers, swimmers were in the same zone and most kite surfers took care to avoid us. But seriously out of all the 5km of beaches, we end up in the 200m kite zone. Anyways, I hope you had a great weekend and are enjoying the last few weeks of summer/winter wherever you are! 
I heard about that heat wave, my parents and friends in Caceres were melting in the 40+ degrees heat!
40C!!! It was around 32C here. I can deal with that! I think the hottest it’s ever been since I’ve been here was 38C one summer. That was caliente! But I love the heat so I was happy 🙂
