Late Summer Afternoon, Parc de la Ciutadella

Advertisements

While I was quite content last holiday puente weekend just to hang out the cats and spend extra time at the beach, come Monday I craving a mini explore somewhere.

I toyed with cycling around Port Vell. It’s not a part of the city I go much and the sea front along Port Vell and Moll de Bosch i Alsina is kinda picturesque. As the beaches were busy, the port would have been equally as busy. I didn’t have time to go to the Botanic Jardins (they’re been on my summer to go list all summer!) and was craving a greenery fix even though I’d been the zoo the day before. I would have gone to the zoo, but I limit to 2 times a week so I don’t get too bored or overtired of it. It was about an hour until sunset, so there was only one place I knew in cycling distance with greenery, Parc de la Ciutadella. Okay, no a mini adventure as I cycling through it a few times a month. I didn’t escape the holiday crowds as it was packed with people and Pokemon Go. However if you head towards the Parliament buildings, you can find quiet pockets no matter the season. If it’s sunny near sunset, hazy sunshine. Enjoy!
