Sunset in Salou

Advertisements

Last Saturday after an afternoon playing big kids at Porta Adventura’s Caribe Aquatic Park we explored a little of Salou down the road.

It’s a kiss me quick kinda seaside town, the usual recuerdos or souvenir crap, filled bars and restaurants, that reminded me of Juan les Pins on the Cote Azur. Seriously you could have replaced the Spanish writing with French and been there. I hardly heard Catalan or Spanish, mostly French and English on holiday.

We got there an hour and half before sunset, had a late picnic lunch (it might as well have been dinner) on the beach before walking along the promenade and exploring part of the town. I featured some photos here, but for every 1 photos I take, there’s a least 2 more. Enjoy!
