Back To School

I found out today just how much the cats, AJ and DD walk the walk. D especially.

It was down to human mum to rescue the bird that crash landed on the balcony this morning. I was sitting by the baloney window when out the corner of my eye caught something crash land and flap about. The boys did the crouch down head bopping thing and ran back inside when I went to see what the commotion was. They then stayed at the safety of the baloney door with confused faces while I helped out a beautiful kestrel that must have got knocked off course by the hyped up ice cream van sounding horn moments before. But I don’t blame them, even if they did know how to hunt birds, they would have left her alone if they had any street smarts. She left me pick her up while I shouted for Paul to see before releasing her. The next 15 minutes, the balcony was under lock down. The cats kept sniffing where she’s been, sniffing the air, checking the skies, like that helps anyone. Like I said I got to see how much they walk the walk! Absolute …….

Today’s officially the start of Autumn and it’s like someone switched the weather switch. Overcast, drizzle, cold morning, sunny and warm afternoon, cold evening, with more people in jeans than shorts for the first time since May. I always feel this time of year, changes are ahead. Maybe because it’s because the new school year always starts in September. Whatever the reason I’m going back to school to get my final YMCA Personal Trainer qualification. I have 8 weeks of study ahead and I’m looking forward it! I finally decided to go ahead and do the gym instruction course. There’s no time like the present and I’d put it off for too long. I’ve gone about things a little backward, did the personal training course before the gym instruction course thanks to some misguidance, but come December I should be a fully qualified Personal Trainer in the eyes of the UK and Europe. And then the fun starts in the New Year!IMG_5851

What’s the last course you took? Is there a course you’re thinking of doing? If you could be qualified for anything you wanted to be, what would it be?

Great! I am seriously thinking about getting my personal trainer certification. I just have such a passion for health and wellness since blogging. In January I will take my last course in Autism Intervention Therapy before I’m certified.
